Lee C Whitworth PG Dip LLCM ATCL 
After serving 25 years as a military musician, training at the Army Junior School of Music, The Royal Military School of Music (Kneller Hall) and serving with the bands of, The First Battalion The King;'s Regiment, The King's Division Waterloo Band, The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band and The Band of The Royal Armoured Corps I have gain a vast knowledge in Military music and the instruments from within. Whilst serving I also started to conduct and have received much help from some of the Corps of Army Musics Best Director of Musics and Bandmasters and work with some of the best civilian Directors to. I completed an Associate, Trinity College London on Saxophone, Licentiate of the London Collage of Music and a Post Graduate Diploma with the University of West London working with Prof Rob Wiffin and Under Prof Mark Heron. I have built up my experience conduct bands of al levels from community bands to gaining a place at the national Finals. Since 2007 I have been The Musical Director of Yorkshire's Premier Military Style Band, The Band of The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service [www.thefireband.co.uk] whom I have performed all over the United Kingdom, Europe and Internationally with.
 



















• Conducting 
A&E can provide basic conducting guidance through to Diploma standard or certification. If you are a School Band, Wind Band, Brass Band Conductor we can help you develop. It is beneficial that you have a Conducting post so you can practice and develop your skills.

• Band Training
Anyone can stand in front of a band and wave their arms, but it takes skill and a deep knowledge in multiple disciplines to be able to develop the group of individuals sat in front of you, eagerly awaiting your motivation. A&E can help develop your skills from 14 years experiences within conducting and 25 years as a professional Military Musician. 

• Concert / Contest Preparation 
Contest and Concert fine tuning is a skill in its self, having learnt from some of the greats such as Richard (Dick) Evens in the Brass Band World, Rob Wiffin within the Wind Band / Military World and Mark Heron in the |Orchestral World. A&E can attend your rehearsals on the lead up to major concerts or contest and give you an independent view, as well as providing guidance to assist you raise your ensemble's performance to the next level

• Saxophone
Tutoring beginners or performers wishing to gain Certification A&E can help you achieve your goal. working within a network of other tutors A&E can guide you on the best path to progress from Amateur to Professional. A&E has tutored students to GCSE or Associated Board Level exams and even performed duets with students on their exams.

• Valve Brass
Tutoring beginners or performers wishing to gain Certification A&E can help you achieve your goal. working within a network of other tutors A&E can guide you on the best path to progress from Amateur to Professional. A&E has worked with students on most Valved Brass Instruments and works within a close net work of other tutors, this enabling us point you in the right direction and helping you work towards  GCSE or Associated Board Exams.

• Rudiments of Music
No musician can develop without the basic rudiments of music and for those that achieve great things and pass their grade five, students can go no further as an instrumentalist without obtaining their grade five theory.
